Editorial Policy
FinxWire is an independent educational publication. This page sets out how we verify facts, correct errors, disclose conflicts, and keep coverage free of buy or sell advice.
Our mandate
We inform and explain. We do not recommend investments, promise returns, or publish paid news coverage.
How we work
Verification, corrections and conflicts
Verification standards. Every figure we report should be traced to a primary source: an official economic release, a central bank publication, a regulator filing, or a company's own statutory report. Where a number needs verification, we mark it [verify latest figure] until it is checked. We explain what each figure measures and what it does not tell you. Corrections policy. When a figure, name, or claim proves wrong, we correct it promptly. Each correction is logged directly within the affected article with the date and a short description of the change, so readers can see what was altered and why.
Conflict-of-interest rules. Staff may not promote personal holdings, trade in securities they cover ahead of publication, or accept gifts from parties whose businesses we report on. Any affiliate relationship is disclosed on the page where it appears. Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom, not by commercial partners.
Reader safeguards
Our editorial commitments
No paid news coverage
Sponsors and affiliate partners never buy editorial placement, headlines, or the conclusions of our explainers.
No speculative tip sheets
We do not publish buy or sell calls, price targets framed as advice, or predictions designed to prompt a trade.
Explicit source attribution
Every article names its sources and states what is known, what is uncertain, and where to check the latest data.
